The primary objective of Library is to support the educational and research activities for the development of the Institute, society as well as the Nation. Central Library, AIIMS Nagpur is providing an environment to its users to develop his/her knowledge & skills through library resources & facilities. Central Library is being developed on international standards with RFID Technology, KOHA Library Management Software, Book Drop Box, CC TV Cameras, Wi-Fi etc. The library spans a total covered area of 2546 Sq. M. (G+2 Building) with fully centralized Air conditioned.
Central Library also provide various facilities to its user like Group Study Room, Mini Conference Room, and Computer Facility with Wi-Fi for instant & Innovative learning are infrastructural add on of AIIMS Nagpur library complex. Presently 1500 (approx) books are available in Central Library from various departments. Central Library is working on subscription of E-Database, E-Journals and E-books.
